AGENTS OF WILLIAMS TREW REAL ESTATE KICK OFF 2ND ANNUAL FOOD BANK FUNDRAISER


Last year, during the height of the pandemic, shutdowns and layoffs created food insecurity for many North Texas neighbors. So agents and employees of Williams Trew Real Estate rallied their Ebby Halliday Companies‘ network to collect $75,000 for two area organizations providing hunger relief: North Texas Food Bank and Tarrant Area Food Bank.

This year agents and employees of Williams Trew will support donation efforts for Tarrant Area Food Bank through Thanksgiving Day.

“It was such a successful effort last year,” Vice President of Brokerage Carolyn Rosson says, “that we would like to replicate it – there is still great need in our community.”

Also VP of Brokerage, Malinda Howell says, “EHC held a company-wide backpack drive in September, collecting more than 600 supply-filled backpacks for Ebby Halliday Elementary students. And I know heading into the holidays this year, we can ride that momentum, tapping into that Ebby spirit once again.”

Considered one of Texas’ most successful businesswomen, Ebby Halliday Acers left a mark not only as a pioneer in Dallas’ residential real estate industry, but as a philanthropist who believed in giving back to the communities her namesake company served.

This commitment to, in her words, “do something for someone every day,” is still very much a part of the fabric of the Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate, which also includes core services companies Prosperity Home MortgageTexas Premier TitleHSTX Title and Home Team Insurance.
